Manaslu Tsum Valley Trekking

The Manaslu trek is more remote and spectacular than many of other treks. It is a recently opened trekking trail has gained attraction of trekkers however in the region are very less owing to the difficult terrain and very simple accommodation facility.

The Mt. Manaslu(8156m) is world eight hightest mountain in the world. The Manaslu trek is more remote and spectacular than many of other treks. The dense of forests in the region can be the home for many rare and endangered animals but the region is completely banded for hunting, fishing and animal slaughtering. You may see the Himalayan Thar and Blue Sheep if you are lucky.

Tsum Valley Manaslu Trek is a delightful journey that lets you walk along the Nepal-Tibet border enjoying the culturally divine highlands settlements and appreciating the artistic monasteries built in those serene and quaint environment. Manaslu Tsum Valley trek can also be the best trek for the trekker who is looking for less crowd and less touristic than other treks. During the trek you can enjoy the Rapids of Budhi Gandaki, view of Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal, Hiuchuli, Gurung Culture and High Pass. 

The hightest point for Manaslu Tsum Valley trek is to cross the Larke La Pass (5106m). From here, you can get some fascinating views of mountains like Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, Himlung Himal along with some rare views of Annapurna massif. Enjoy the cultural vibrancy that can be found nowhere but in Tsum valley. Visit Mu Gompa, Rachen Gompa and Nunnery temple to get some insights about Tibetan Buddhist culture. The prayer flags, chortens, Mani walls; everything we encounter on our trail during our journey gives a resemblance of Tibetan Buddhist culture. The lifestyle and tradition of the people residing in the valley is unique and traditional. The people in the region have been able to preserve their uniqueness intact without any influence of outer world till date.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu(1350m) and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu city tour and trek preparation

Day 03: Drive to Sotikhola(700m) by bus/Jeep. 7-8 hours drive

Day 04: Trek from Sotikhola to Machhakhola(869m, 5 hrs walks)

Day 05: Trek from Machhakhola to Jagat(1340m, 6-7 hrs walks)

Day 06: Trek from Jagat to Lokpa(2240m, 6 hrs walks)

Day 07: Trek from Lokpa to Chumling(2386m, 5-6 hrs walks)

Day 08: Trek Chumling to Chhokang Paro(3031m, 6-7 hrs walks)

Day 09: Trek from Chhokang Paro to Mu Gumba(3700m, 7-8 hrs walks)

Day 10: Trek back to Chhokang Paro(3031m, 7-8 hrs walks)

Day 11: Trek to Gumba Lungdong(3200m,7-8 hrs walks)

Day 12: Acclimatization day and side trip

Day 13: Trek Lungdong Gumba to Ripchet(2470m, 7hrs walks)

Day 14: Ripchet to Deng(1860m, 7hrs walks)

Day 15: Deng to Namrung(2630m, 6 hrs walks)

Day 16: Trek to Samagaun(3520m, 6 hrs walks)

Day 17: Acclimatization day and side trip

Day 18: Trek to Samdho(3875m, 5-6 hrs walks)

Day 19: Samdho to Dharmashala(4460m, 5 hrs walks)

Day 20: Dharmashala to Bhimtang(3590m, 7-8 hrs walks) via Larke La Pass(5106m)

Day 21: Bhimtang to Tilije(2300m, 6hrs walks)

Day 22: Tilije to Tal(1700m, 6hrs walks)

Day 23: Tilije to Besisahar to Kathamandu by bus/jeep.

Day 24: Final departure to the airport
