Dolpa is the largest district located in Northern Western part of Nepal, having perfect trekking scenario of Phoksundo Lake, Pre-Buddhist religion of “Bon Po”, the land of the Oscar-nominated movie ‘Himalaya’, high Himalayan passes of Numa La (5190m) and Baga La (5070m) with beautiful villages of Dolpo people who keep their old tradition of trade with Tibet by using Yaks. Well, Dolpo region has main two off beaten and popular touristic destination: Upper Dolpo and Lower Dolpo.

Lower Dolpo trek is predestined for real adventure aspiration for an off-the-beaten-path experience. Out trek begins From Jhupal after 35 minutes scenic flight from Nepalgunj and the trail continue to Dunai heading north along with Dho Tarap village, an area inhabited by Tibetan Buddhists. Again the trek passes through Shey Phoksundo National Park with magnificent mountain scenery, Buddhist monasteries, Yak caravans, with adventure Pass of Baga La/Numa La and the trail back to Dunai along with Phoksundo River as it flows to Phoksundo Lake on their long passes to Bay of Bengal via Ganga.

Day 04: Nepalgunj to Jhupal (2475m) Trek to Dunai (2140m) 3o minutes flight 3 hours walk

Day 05: Dunai to Tarakot (2540m) 5-6 hrs walk

Day 06: Tarakot to Laini (3155m) 6-7 hrs walk

Day 07: Laini to Nawarpani (3545m) 5-6 hrs walk

Day 08: Nawarpani to Dho Tarap (4090m) 7-8 hrs walk

Day 09: Excursion around Dho Tarap

Day 10: Dho Tarap to Numa La Base Camp (4445m) 6-7 hrs walk

Day 11: Numa La Base Campe to Pelung Tang (4445m) via Numa La Pass (5190m) 6-7 hrs walk

Day 12: Pelung Tang to Dajok Tang (4080m) via Baga La Pass (5070m) 6 hrs walk

Day 13: Dajok Tang to Ringmo (3640m) 3-4 hrs walk

Day 14: Rest Day in Ringmo, Exlpore Phoksundo Lake

Day 15: Ringmo to Shyanta (2522m) 5-6 hrs walk

Day 16:  Shyanta to Jhupal (2475m)

Day 17: Jhupal to Nepalgunj to Kathmandu

Day 18: Shopping day or rest day in Kathmandu
