Langtang -Gosainkunda Trekking

Gosainkunda Lake is the holy pilgrimage of both Hindu and Buddhist religion; most of the Hindu people bath in the lake during the month of August in the full moon day; festival of Janai Purnima. People believe all sin goes out from their life after bathing in this icy lake.

 Langtang Gosainkunda Lake Trekking combines the isolated and stunning valley of Langtang with holy high mountain lakes such as Gosainkunda and Bhairabkunda. Trekkers can see the gorgeous Langtang National Park, hidden valley fantastic mountain views along with ethnic encounters. The foremost highlights of this trekking are rhododendron, pine, oak and bamboo forests, the abundance of wildlife, majestic waterfall, snowcapped mountain peaks, glaciers, Lakes, Buddhist monastery, local Yak cheese, inhabited by Tamang heritage.

Day 02:  Cultural Tour in Kathmandu (1300m)

Day 03:  Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1410m, 8hrs drive)

Day 04:  Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2480m, 7hrs walk)

Day 05:  Lama Hotel to Langtang (3430m, 6hrs walk)

Day 06:  Langtang to Kyangin Gumpa (3860, 4hrs walk)

Day 07:  Ascent Kyangin Ri (4800m) back to Kyangin Gumpa (3860m, 5-6 hrs walk)

Day 08: Kyangin Gumpa to Lama Hotel (2480m, 7hrs descend)

Day 09: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2240m, 6 hrs walk)

Day 10: Thulo Syabru to Chadanbari/Singumpa (3330m, 5 hrs walk)

Day 11:  Singumpa to Gosainkunda Lake (4460m, 6hrs walk)

Day 12:  Gosainkunda Lake to Cross pass (4610m) to Ghopte (3440m, 7 hrs walk)

Day 13: Ghopte to Kutumsang (2470m, 6hrs walk)

Day 14:  Kutumsang to Chisapani (2210m, 6hrs walk)

Day 15: Chisapani to Kathmandu (1300m, 4hrs walk, 1hrs drive to Hotel)

Day 16: Rest day/Shopping day (1300m)
